Birds are everywhere, all the time doing fascinating things. Join community scientists from around the world by participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) from Feb. 16th-19th, 2024. To participate go to www.birdcount.org for instructions on how to identify and record the birds you see.
- Come to the library on Monday Feb. 19th at 3:00-4:30pm to learn all about the Great Backyard Bird Count.
- Make a birdfeeder with everyday upcycled items around the home.
- Birdwatch and develop your identification skills for learning which birds you are seeing.
- Learn how to make a list of the birds seen to input into the Great Backyard Bird Count with a notebook, and apps like ebird and Merlin.
- Discover the joy of birdwatching!
Registration is not required but preferred.
All levels of birding welcome!
