Join us on Friday Feb. 13th from 3:00pm-4:30pm for the first day of the Great Backyard Bird Count! Learn how in as little as 15 minutes you can notice the birds, identify them, count them and submit them to help scientists better understand and protect birds around the world.
We will have binoculars available to practice focusing outside at our bird feeder, bluebird house, and trees. We will have an illustrated guide of the common winter birds we have here in Mary Esther. And we will take a short hike at Oak Tree Park Trail to identify as many species as we can to report on Ebird and Merlin.
Plan on returning on Monday Feb. 16th @ 2:00 to share what birds you saw!
