I Love Libraries

September is library card sign-up month.  To encourage library card sign-ups a table is set up in front of the circulation desk with three different designs of characters for patrons to select and create a story about what the library means to them.  They are encouraged to draw a story making the story squares or simply draw what inspires them about the library. 

There are several  colored pencils put on the table for people to use as well as regular pencils.  Once they complete their drawing they give it to a library staff who will place it in a clear plastic holder to display on the table for all to admire.
