"Jolabokaflod!" Christmas Book Flood!

Cozying up with a good book and steaming mug of hot cocoa is how Icelanders have spent their Christmas Eve since WWII when paper was one of the few things not rationed.  This tradition has become so popular it has a name "Jolabokaflood!" or book flood as translated in English. The Mary Esther Library is bringing "Jolabokaflood!" here! 

 It will begin on Friday Dec. 19th from 10:00-5:00pm, Dec. 20th from 10:00am-5:00pm   and end at 5:00pm Monday Dec. 22nd.
