Movie Matinee--The Wild Robot

This month's Movie Matinee is The Wild Robot a movie adaption of Peter Brown's award winning middle grade book, of the same name.  It is an epic journey of a brave robot who lands on an island and learns to adapt with the forest animals. Part adventure story, part adoptive found family drama it follows Roz, a robot who must learn to communicate with the animals and survive.  Major themes of the movie are teamwork, empathy, courage, and perseverance.  It is recommended for ages 8 and older.
