The Valparaiso Library will be opening up their Makerspace Lab to the public. This Month the lab will be open on Monday, Dec 22nd the Lab will be open from 10:00am-Noon.

In January's edition of Little Brush Buddies, we're doing a canvas crawl! The floor will be covered in craft paper, and babies and toddlers can use the provided finger paint to decorate as much as they want.

Teens, ages 11-17, are welcome to join us at our Teen Hang-out! Teen Hang-Out is Monday-Friday on School Days, 1:45-3:00.

Tuesday, Jan 27th at 11am the Valparaiso Library will have a special Adult art class. We will be using acrylic on canvas to create a work of art! 

Don't miss your chance to Craft & Chat on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday each month from 11 am - 1 pm. Bring along your latest creative project to work on as you share ideas, spark inspiration, and connect with fellow crafters.

Come join a group of knitting and crochet hobbyist, make friends, and share ideas with fellow creatives! Meeting weekly!

ADULTS ONLY, no kids. All skill levels welcome.

One on one instruction available upon request.

Join us for exciting stories, rhymes, music, and activities selected just for children ages 3-5 years. Children enjoy doing themed crafts in the end of the program.

Teens are invited to an afternoon of costumes, games, and fun with other teen fans!

Thursday Jan 29th at 10am; Join us for Art at the Library. Please dress for mess! This lesson is for ages 5 and up.

World-renowned guitarist Peter Fletcher will serenade the library during a special event where patrons and guests will paint bricks and pavers to look like book covers or any image you choose to paint!

Zines are self-published, handmade booklets or magazines that let you share your stories, art, ideas, and passions in a creative, personal format.

Grades 6-12 come hang out with others and play various video and board games!

The whole month of February, we will have fun coloring sheets & blank paper in our Early Reader section and our Juniors section.
