Join us on March 23rd at 6 PM for an evening of music with singer-songwriter, David Singley. This concert is free to the public and there is no registration.
David Singley is a singer-songwriter from Saint Paul, Minnesota. At the crossroads of refined experience and emotional authenticity, his music is influenced by the great singer-songwriters of the 60s and 70s. An experienced veteran of decades of backing world-class artists and performers, he has recently joined the “Great Resignation” and set his sights on his own artistic pursuits.
His last album, The Long, Slow Fuse of Night (2021), charted on Americana radio for several months.
His single, “Change Gonna Come” (Aug, 2022), speaks to the impermanence of life as well as the choice to either dwell on the negative or accentuate the positive. “Can’t Find My Way Back” (Nov. 2022) is unmistakably Acoustic, Americana, Bluegrass, and Roots. Whatever you call it, you know it when you hear it. The tempo gallops, never straining but always moving forward. The instrumentals are full of fire and clever wit. The lyrics speak of the weary longing for home from too much time spent on the road.
