Join us every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 am - 10:00 am for Music & Me with Mrs. Hillary. Mondays are for 0-5, Wednesdays ALL AGES are welcome, and Fridays are for 0-3 years old.

Join us for an age appropriate story time on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am-10:30am.

Join us on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after Story Time from 10:30am-11:00am for socialization and playtime!

Play & Connect is a welcoming program where parents and caregivers can relax and connect with one another while their little ones explore, play, and learn through age-appropriate activities.

Join us for exciting stories, rhymes, music, and activities selected just for children ages 3-5 years. Children enjoy doing themed crafts in the end of the program.

December book: Don't Make Me Pull Over by Richard Ratay

On the Second Friday every month, at 11am, Join us for a relaxing hour of Coloring and Coffee at the Valparaiso Library. This is an adult program, for ages 18 years and up. 

The Niceville Public Library is excited to introduce genre-specific book clubs AND a podcast club for 2026. We're also increasing the capacity for our quarterly Cookbook Club by adding a second group.

Teens, ages 11-17, are welcome to join us at our Teen Hang-out! Teen Hang-Out is Monday-Friday on School Days, 1:45-3:00.

Grades 6-12 come hang out with others and play various video and board games!

Each week there is a different theme/program see below schedule.

Calling all gardening aficionados! The Garnier Beach Garden Club meets on the 2nd Saturday of the month to learn and share local gardening information!

January's Topic: Bees with Bill Hagen, President, Tri-County Beekeeper Association

January 10: Dr. Arlyne Simon: Biomedical Engineer 

Experience one-on-one reading with a trained therapy dog!

Registration required! 

Each child gets 20 minutes to read with the therapy dog.

The Niceville Library Cookbook Club will expand to two groups in 2026, with ten members in each. The groups will meet quarterly to share in a potluck of everyone's favorite dishes from that season's selected title.

Learn about the history of zines and create your own in January’s Crafternoon. Materials will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring anything you’d like to use from home!

Do you like to meet with others to discuss books you've read?  Are you looking for new ideas of books to read?  Then All About Books is the book club for you!

Chapter Chats is an adult book club designed for caregivers. We will be reading and discussing adult books, but meetings will take place in the Children's Storytime room and children's toys will be provided.

Calling all budding chess players!

Youth Chess Club meets every Monday evening 3-4:30 PM.

It is designed to teach all the wonderful new chess players how to play or to play better.
