We are excited to begin a series of After School Programs for ages 7 -12 that will focus each month on a different topic. This month we are celebrating popcorn as National Popcorn Day falls on January19th.
We will share the story of “Popcorn” by Elaine Landau, which offers popcorn facts and figures and answers questions that kids often wonder about...such as what makes it pop? We'll share some historical facts, legends and trivia, and will take you through the story of how Popcorn popped into our lives!
After the story we'll have popcorn related activities and/or crafts and share some freshly popped popcorn!
