What do archaeologists do, exactly? If dinosaurs and rocks come to mind, this is the presentation for you! Learn about the science of archaeology, its role as part of the field of anthropology, where archaeologists work, and how they discover and learn about how people across Florida have contributed to our history. This fun and informative show sets the stage for understanding how archaeology preserves our past for the present and future. After the presentation, everyone will have the opportunity to participate in a fun, hands-on activity.
Join Nicole Grinnan from the Florida Public Archaeology Network for this class this summer!
For ages 7-11. Registration is required.
