Program Description

Event Details

The "It's A Mystery Book Club" meets once a month, except December to discuss mystery books or crime fiction, a genre that fictionalizes crimes, detection and their motives. Another way to describe our lively discussions is who's the murderer, who's the detective, and what happened in between the pages from beginning to end.

This month's mystery is Midnight Creed by Alex Kava.  Midnight Creed is the 8th book in the Ryder Creed mystery series.  Ryder Creed’s priority is to keep his scent dogs safe. In the dark there are threats that are impossible to see or predict. Ever since his Marine K9 unit searched for IEDs in Afghanistan, he’s avoided nighttime searches. But when a boy goes missing in a remote area of the Florida Panhandle, Creed has to put aside his fears and navigate the risks his dogs will face after dark.

It's no mystery that the "It's A Mystery Book Club" meets on the first Monday of each month at the Mary Esther Library. We request the books in advance so you can come into the library and find your copy of the latest mystery that will be discussed.  Registration is not required.  Drop in and have fun discussing a compelling mystery!
