The Friends Guild is pleased to host a musical performance by David Singley on Tuesday, March 21st, at 6:00 PM at the Destin Library (Calhoun Room).

David Singley is a talented singer/songwriter and guitarist with over 40 years’ experience in performing music. Singley has played with many notable acts over the years and with his background in jazz, he knows how to make a quality tune.

Singley formerly taught at the McNally-Smith College of Music in Saint Paul, MN and Carleton College in Northfield, MN. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Composition and Arranging from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and a Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies from Indiana University.

David Singley’s music has been influenced by the great singer-songwriters of the 60s and 70s. An experienced veteran of decades of backing world-class artists and performers. His last album, The Long, Slow Fuse of Night (2021), charted on Americana radio for several months.
