Calling all crafters!

Story Time will have songs and stories to encourage a lifelong love of learning. No registration is required and older siblings are welcome. Enjoy free play and socialization afterwards!

The Niceville Public Library is excited to introduce genre-specific book clubs AND a podcast club for 2026. We're also increasing the capacity for our quarterly Cookbook Club by adding a second group.

-Tuesdays or Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. (start in the Story Room.)

Preschool Storytime for ages 3 to 5.

Join our Children's Librarian, Miss Sadie, for a morning of song & dance, stories, movements, music, and toys!

Join us each Thursday from 10 am - 2 pm!

• Swap up to four puzzles each week
• Puzzles must be new or like-new and come from a smoke-free environment
• Sign-in is required (look for the clipboard)

The Novel Idea Book Club meets every third Thursday of the month at 11:30 a.m.
We focus on a variety of fiction titles with an occasional nonfiction choice.
Everyone is welcome to join!

Beat the heat with fun and colorful movies for free! Bring blankets and camp out in the meeting room. Popcorn and juice are provided, and outside food and drinks are always welcome.

Doors open at 2 pm and movies start at 2:15 pm.

-first 15 children each class (preference given to Early Steps families but everyone is welcome)

Registration is encouraged but not required

Grades 6-12 come hang out with others and play various video and board games!

Each week there is a different theme/program see below schedule.

Who doesn't love Legos?  Come prepared to be creative!  Creating with Legos allows us to bring our visions to life. Every builder will be encouraged to create their own structure.

The Niceville Library Cookbook Club will expand to two groups in 2026, with ten members in each. The groups will meet quarterly to share in a potluck of everyone's favorite dishes from that season's selected title.

Calling all budding chess players!

Youth Chess Club meets every Monday evening 3-4:30 PM.

It is designed to teach all the wonderful new chess players how to play or to play better.   

Attention Chess Players 

Chess Club meets every Monday evening 4:30-6 PM.

If you're a beginner or intermediate come and learn to play, or to play better.   

Join our crochet and knitting group. This a social circle of creation. You can learn how to knit and/or crochet, or just come for the enjoyment of watching and company. We have some yarn to help get you started on your new creation.
