Program Description

Event Details

The "It's A Mystery Book Club" meets once a month, except December to discuss mystery books or crime fiction, a genre that fictionalizes crimes, detection and their motives. Another way to describe our lively discussions is who's the murderer, who's the detective, and what happened in between the pages from beginning to end.

January's mystery is The River We Remember by William Kent Krueger.

Both a complex, spellbinding mystery and a masterful portrait of midcentury American life, The River We Remember is an unflinching look at the wounds left by the wars we fight abroad and at home, a moving exploration of the ways in which we seek to heal, and a testament to the enduring power of the stories we tell about the places we call home.

It's no mystery that the "It's A Mystery Book Club" meets on the first Monday of each month at the Mary Esther Library. We request the books in advance so you can come into the library and find your copy of the latest mystery that will be discussed.  Registration is not required.  Drop in and enjoy discussing the latest mystery!
