Attention Chess Players

The workshop is held as part of the NWFAA’s support for its library telescope program. We will discuss astronomical objects and events visible for the next 30 days as well recent astronomical events and general astronomy subjects. Free to all.

Immerse yourself in the sounds of Tibetan bowls, chimes, and flutes and feel your stress melt away. Sound bathing is an ancient technique which uses therapeutic sound waves to promote relaxation, healing, and mindfulness.

Spring cleaning in the most sustainable way! Gather up your junk mail and old documents with personal information and bring them to the back of the library parking lot to have them shredded and recycled.

Are you interested in acting, but don't know where to start? Join Zoe for a fun, free high energy introduction into acting! Registration is required. For ages 8-12.

Join us on our library lawn to be inspired to get outside by your Library and community partners like the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, The Audubon Society, The Girl Scouts, Florida Native Plant Society, 4-H Camp Timpooc

The Fort Walton Beach Library Friends are now official! Come learn how you can be a part of this group who advocate for the library in the community!

This class series is designed to teach ages 13 and up basic skills that will help them in life. 

Event runs 5:30 - 7:30 pm 

For students, friends, and family only.

The City of Fort Walton Beach's City Manager, Jason Davis, wants to meet YOU! Get to know him, his vision for the City and have your voice heard over a hot cup of coffee.

The first Thursday of each month, 10-11:00 a.m. Free Legal Help Clinic will be at the library.  Areas: housing issues, veterans issues,  Economic impact payment issues, landlord-tenant, tax disputes, foreclosures

Play & Connect is a welcoming program where parents and caregivers can relax and connect with one another while their little ones explore, play, and learn through age-appropriate activities.

Experience one-on-one reading with trained therapy dog, Hattie! Each child gets 20 minutes to read with the therapy dog. Registration is required.

Do you have legal questions? Lawyers with Legal Services of North Florida will be at the Fort Walton Beach Library on the second Monday of the month from 10AM-12PM to help

Bring your extra plants and seeds! Swap them for different plants and seeds!
