The Valparaiso Library will be opening up their Makerspace Lab to the public. This Month the lab will be open on Monday, April 27th the Lab will be open from 10:00am-Noon.

Join us for this drop-in art program for ages 0-3. Registration is required to ensure we have enough materials for everyone. Dress for mess. You are welcome to come and go as you finish the project.

Need a little creative time?

Teens, ages 11-17, are welcome to join us at our Teen Hang-out! Teen Hang-Out is Monday-Friday on School Days, 1:45-3:00.

April 28th at 11am the Valparaiso Library will have an adult only art class. We will be using acrylic on canvas to create a work of art! 

Don't miss your chance to Craft & Chat on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday each month from 11 am - 1 pm. Bring along your latest creative project to work on as you share ideas, spark inspiration, and connect with fellow crafters.

Come join a group of knitting and crochet hobbyist, make friends, and share ideas with fellow creatives! Meeting weekly!

All skill levels welcome.

One on one instruction available upon request.

Join us for exciting stories, rhymes, music, and activities selected just for children ages 3-5 years. Children enjoy doing themed crafts in the end of the program.

Monday, April 20th, at 4pm & Thursday, April 30th 10am; Join us for Art at the Library. Please dress for mess! This lesson is for ages 5 and up.

Create a unique floral headpiece in celebration of spring, honoring natures renewal and the spirit of the May Queen. Supplies will be provided. This event is intended for adults. Registration is required.

1st Friday: Art - Crayon Suncatchers

A fun and interactive experience for tweens and teens.  Focus is on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math!

Space is limited, registration is required.

Are you interested in acting, but don't know where to start? Join Zoe for a fun, free high energy introduction into acting! Registration is required. For ages 8-12.

Join us on our library lawn to be inspired to get outside by your Library and community partners like the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, The Audubon Society, The Girl Scouts, Florida Native Plant Society, 4-H Camp Timpooc

The whole month of May, we will have fun coloring sheets & blank paper in our Early Reader section and our Juniors section.  Come color and create, leave some art for us to hang to brighten our Library and also take some home.
