The Destin Writers' Group is a fun, informal space for writers of all genres no matter if you're just starting out or have written for years. The only requirement to join is an active email address.

Calling all crafters!

Bring your current cross-stitch, knitting, crochet, weaving, and embroidery projects and join like-minded crafters for crafting and discussion!

Ages 0 - 2!

Lots of fun every story time with songs, books, and activities to encourage a love of reading from birth!

Join Miss Beth on July 23rd at 3 pm and create your own sand art mandala.  All materials are provided. 

This program is intended for ages 8 - 17. Registration is required to due limited supplies. 

Calling all writers! Writing won't feel solitary with a group of supportive writers meeting at the Fort Walton Beach Library!

Join Ms. Olivia for 30 minutes of musical fun! The class focuses on having fun while introducing simple musical concepts. This program is designed to encourage children to move and engage with their classmates. 

Join us each Thursday from 10 am - 2 pm!

• Swap up to four puzzles each week
• Puzzles must be new or like-new and come from a smoke-free environment
• Sign-in is required (look for the clipboard)

Every Story Time will be filled with activities, stories, and a fun take home craft! All to encourage a life long love of learning.

To assist students of all ages, we are hoping to help alleviate some of the prep work with going back to school.  Please register your student to stop by and get some free school supplies.

Grades 6-12 come hang out with others and play various video and board games!

Each week there is a different theme/program see below schedule.

1st Friday: Art - Felt Mushroom Pouches

Children ages 0-18 and their families celebrate reaching their summer reading goals and pick their prize at the Community Center, 1446 Commerce Dr.!  (Reading logs were due July 23).

Each month is a different project. Come relax and have fun with other crafty people. Talent and experience is not required.

The Mystery Book Club meets once a month, except December to discuss mystery books or crime fiction, a genre that fictionalizes crimes, detection and their motives.
