Give them a head start: Storytime attendance increases reading, listening and motor skills, attention span, music and rhythm, social development and so much more.

Does navigating Medicare have you all at sea? Do you have trouble understanding your options, coverage, and rights? Kevin Smithers will make sense of it all and guide you to meet your specific needs. 

Teens, ages 11-17, are welcome to join us at our Teen Hang-out! Teen Hang-Out is Monday-Friday on School Days, 1:45-3:00.

Every Thursday in May, (excluding 5/28) at 3:00pm-4:00pm, The Library's Anime Club will meet to watch anime. The Anime will be rated from G to PG13 & TV14.

Ages 5-17

Come build to your heart's content using the Legos provided and have fun with other Lego enthusiasts.

Younger children are welcome if accompanied by an adult and/or older sibling.

Join us every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 am - 10:00 am for Music & Me with Mrs. Hillary. Mondays are for 0-5, Wednesdays ALL AGES are welcome, and Fridays are for 0-3 year olds.

Friday May 15th, at 11am, Join us for a relaxing hour of Coloring and Coffee at the Valparaiso Library. This is an adult program, for ages 18 years and up.

1st Friday: Art - Crayon Suncatchers

Who doesn't love Legos?  Come prepared to be creative!  Creating with Legos allows us to bring our visions to life. Every builder will be encouraged to create their own structure.

Are you interested in learning the basics of sewing but don't know where to start? Anne-Marie Wilkerson will guide you to sewing bliss!

Experience one-on-one reading with a trained therapy dog! Each child gets 20 minutes to read with the therapy dog. Registration is required.

The Niceville Library Cookbook Club will expand to two groups in 2026, with ten members in each. The groups will meet quarterly to share in a potluck of everyone's favorite dishes from that season's selected title.

This monthly group is for parents and caregivers of children with disabilities to connect, feel supported, and share encouragement in a warm, welcoming space. You are not alone--we are in this together.

Calling all budding chess players!

Youth Chess Club meets every Monday evening 3-4:30 PM.

It is designed to teach all the wonderful new chess players how to play or to play better.
