Story Time will have songs, stories, and activities to encourage a lifelong love of learning. Older and younger siblings are welcome! Enjoy free play and socialization afterwards! No registration required.

Does navigating Medicare have you all at sea? Do you have trouble understanding your options, coverage, and rights? Kevin Smithers will make sense of it all and guide you to meet your specific needs. 

Ages 5-17 (Younger children are welcome to attend class if accompanied by an adult and/or older sibling, however, they are not eligible to win the Lego prizes.

Join us the Second Friday of every month, at 11am,  for a relaxing hour of Coloring and Coffee. This is an adult program, for ages 18 years and up.

Have you heard about the new relaxation trend? Coloring is not just for kids anymore! Coloring has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety. It also promotes mindfulness and allows creativity.

Monday, July 13th at 2pm, the Valparaiso Library will be showing the National Geographic film, ' Hubble's Cosmic Journey'. Escape the July heat and take in the beauty of space. Popcorn and drinks will be provided.

Calling all budding chess players!

Youth Chess Club meets every Monday evening 3-4:30 PM.

It is designed to teach all the wonderful new chess players how to play or to play better.

The Niceville Public Library is excited to introduce genre-specific book clubs AND a podcast club for 2026. We're also increasing the capacity for our quarterly Cookbook Club by adding a second group.
