-first 15 children each class (preference given to Early Steps families but everyone is welcome)

Registration is encouraged but not required

Grades 6-12 come hang out with others and play various video and board games!

Each week there is a different theme/program see below schedule.

Who doesn't love Legos?  Come prepared to be creative!  Creating with Legos allows us to bring our visions to life. Every builder will be encouraged to create their own structure.

Socks will be hosting a cat café! Cats will be at the library for snuggles, pets, and adoption! 

Local authors will add to the festivities sharing their book about the first cat in America.

The Niceville Library Cookbook Club will expand to two groups in 2026, with ten members in each. The groups will meet quarterly to share in a potluck of everyone's favorite dishes from that season's selected title.

Join us every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 am - 10:00 am for Music & Me with Mrs. Hillary. Mondays are for 0-5, Wednesdays ALL AGES are welcome, and Fridays are for 0-3 year olds.

Third Mondays at 10:00 a.m. 

Join us for an age appropriate story time on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am-10:30am.

Calling all budding chess players!

Youth Chess Club meets every Monday evening 3-4:30 PM.

It is designed to teach all the wonderful new chess players how to play or to play better.   

Monday, July 20th, at 4pm & Thursday, July 23rd 10am; Join us for Art at the Library. Please dress for mess! This lesson is for ages 5 and up.

Attention Chess Players 

Chess Club meets every Monday evening 4:30-6 PM.

If you're a beginner or intermediate come and learn to play, or to play better.   

Join our crochet and knitting group. This a social circle of creation. You can learn how to knit and/or crochet, or just come for the enjoyment of watching and company. We have some yarn to help get you started on your new creation.

Tuesday, July 21st at 10am ; Join us for Summer Reading Themed Tot Art lesson. We will be creating art with various mediums. Please dress for mess. This lesson is for ages 0-4.

Calling all card enthusiasts! Join us for Canasta on the third Tuesday of the month!

Come and use our "books" and our supplies to make your very own Fairytale. This will start at 2pm. We will provide blank books, stickers, colored pencils, and anything else you need to write and illustrate your very own Fairytale.

The Destin Writers' Group is a fun, informal space for writers of all genres no matter if you're just starting out or have written for years. The only requirement to join is an active email address.
