The Valparaiso Library will be opening up their Makerspace Lab to the public. This Month the lab will be open on Monday, the 27th from 10:00am-Noon.

Join us on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after Story Time from 10:30am-11:00am for socialization and playtime!

Join us Monday, July 27th, at 2pm, for a Special Summer Reading themed family movie. The Valparaiso Library will be showing  'Ice Age'. Escape the July heat and take in an animated family film. Popcorn and drinks will be provided.

Calling all budding chess players!

Youth Chess Club meets every Monday evening 3-4:30 PM.

It is designed to teach all the wonderful new chess players how to play or to play better.

July 28th at 11am the Valparaiso Library will have a special summer Acrylic Art Class for ages 12 and up.  We will be using acrylic paint on canvas to create a work of art! 

Don't miss your chance to Craft & Chat on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday each month from 11 am - 1 pm. Bring along your latest creative project to work on as you share ideas, spark inspiration, and connect with fellow crafters.

Everyone is welcome to join us for an afternoon of tabletop, board, and card games with other adults!

The workshop is held as part of the NWFAA’s support for its library telescope program. We will discuss astronomical objects and events visible for the next 30 days as well recent astronomical events and general astronomy subjects. Free to all.

Writers of all genres and experience are welcome.

• Swap up to four puzzles each week
• Puzzles must be new or like-new and come from a smoke-free environment
• Sign-in is required (look for the clipboard)
