Inge Lehmann- Earth Scientist/Seismologist
This class requires registration of girls ages 8 to 15. You register online or calling the Fort Walton Beach Public Library. GEMS: Girls Empowered with Math and Science will be held on the 2nd Saturday of each month starting in October and runs through May. It is from 10:30 to 12:00. The class is sponsored by and with the Emerald Coast Science Center of Fort Walton Beach. Each month will focus on a different female scientist. There will be crafts and activities.
